DeFur Voran is pleased to announce the appointment of Kelli J. Liggett and Maura J. Hoff as partners of the firm effective January 1, 2023.

Kelli is a graduate of Butler University and Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and joined the firm upon graduation in 2014. She began her practice in estate planning and elder law before serving as the lead attorney of our Immigration Law Group. Kelli’s leadership and skill has been instrumental in growing the immigration practice into an integral part of the firm. While still practicing immigration law, she has resumed practicing extensively in our Estate and Medicaid Planning group.

After more than 10 years as a solo practitioner, Maura, a graduate of Centre College and Ohio Northern University Claude W. Pettit College of Law, came to the firm in 2017. She quickly became invaluable to our municipal and education clients. Maura also has significant experience working with non-profits and has grown our presence in the community through her extensive service and volunteer work, including her current role as President of the Muncie Civic Theatre Board of Directors.
