DeFur Voran is delighted to announce that Gus Pippin has joined the firm as an Associate Attorney in our Muncie office.

Gus began his legal career as soon as he could drive, assisting a solo practitioner with offices in Muncie and Indianapolis with all stages of plaintiff’s personal injury litigation and Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies.

Gus graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with degrees in accounting, finance, and Spanish. He graduated from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law with a juris doctorate along with graduate certificates in corporate and commercial law and health law. After his first year of law school, Gus clerked in the Consumer Protection Division at the Indiana Attorney General’s office. He then worked at a regional insurance and business defense firm before joining a law firm focused on transactional matters for municipalities, utilities, corporations, partnerships, and individuals. Before graduating law school, Gus worked in the legal department at USA Track & Field where he assisted in matters of corporate governance, intellectual property, contract drafting, anti-doping, and P-1A visas.

He primarily practices in the areas of business, tax, estates and trusts.
